How do you lot normally get into Le Mans town centre from the circuit on Friday afternoon, and (very importantly) get back late on Friday night after a load of beer and a memory card full of Hawaiian tropic girls ?

You can catch the bus from the cemetery about half a mile up the hill from the main entrance, costs about a Euro for a single ticket.

As the buses stop running at about 8pm, the return journey has to be by taxi from the ranks in either the main square or at the station.

Watch the traffic if your driving in (I don,t bother anymore) as the jams can be major, and if your car likes to over heat then don,t even bother. My mates AJP V8 powered Cobra burst into flames as the engine bay got so hot the fuel vapouried through the K&N filter big time.Cobra was burn,t out! If your going to drive in then go very early.

Ah,had wondered about the town parade, as never managed it on previous trips.

Any rough idea on on how much the return taxi fares worked out? baring in mind there will be some serious Jams...

A Taxi will be expensive, unless you have a group of people willing to share.

Last year there was the road works putting in the new Tramway to the city centre. Does anyone know if it is working this year?
