My wife has, at the last minute, decided to arrange a trip to Le Mans as a birthday treat. Getting there and accommodation are both no problem, but she's drawn a blank on tickets to actually get in to the damn thing. Which is why I now know about it in advance. So...what are the options for a Johnny-come-lately such as myself?

As I understand it the general enterance tickets don't sell out and are available on the door.
If you want granstand tickets as well then these are sold out but there are usually some on ebay.

I might be interested in the entrance/camping ticket if you're splitting. Which camp site is it?

Entrance tickets available on the gate 60 Euros, or 45 if you are an ACO member. Don't pay silly premium to have these in advance - we never had a problem getting them by little offices just by any one of the main entrances.

Last year a few guys in our group managed to get grandstand seats on the day without booking etc so don't worry about it just take euros.

It's unusual to be able to get grandstand tickets on the day, most are sold out waayyyy in advance. As said though GA tickets can be bought when you get there, no need to panic at all.

Whahey (or however you spell it). Got some (rather good) tickets including parking from eBay -- bizarrely it hadn't occurred to me to look there before it was mentioned in this thread. Trying (and failing) to contain my excitement as we speak!
