supermarket info......
Discussion
Hi all,
I have previously travelled to LM in a bigger car with plenty of space for supplies, or a smaller faster one with the bigger one full of supplies trying to keep up!
This year I'm in a convoy consisting of a pair of TVR S2's and a Caterham 7 so there will not be much space for bbq's, food, beer etc etc. Does anyone know where the nearest supermarket is or have directions to it from the Maison Blanche campsite?
Cheers, Longers

Carrefour:
From the main entrance, head up the hill. Take the first right and then first left. Follow the road through the houses, across a roundabout or two. Take the right at the t-junction and be ready to get in the left hand lane at the x-roads that are about 50yds further on. Turn left at the x-roads (pharmacy with a big green neon '+' sign should be on the x-roads). The 'Centre Sud' is on your right, the entrance to the car park is the very first gap on the right which is easily missed the first time you visit each year as it doesn't look large enough to be the entrance.
You then have the choice of upstairs or downstairs in the multi (2) storey, the entrance is on the top level. The exit from the carpark is via the lower level of the multi-storey and it is always a lottery which exit road to pick. I always get it wrong.
Should take 5 mins from the campsites if there is no traffic.
There is a smaller Super U in Arnage village, which is often quicker to get to, follow the signs in the village. There is also a large Super-U hypermarket to the north of Arnage where the outskirts of one of the Le Mans industrial districts is.

Same as you, we have an Elise and Mx5 in our convoy and we are camping in MB, so if you see my car following you out the campsite you will know why
