Ok guys now the panic is over with the 200sx lets get serious. Whos bringing a hose for their pool, i seem to remember a few guys spending over 150 euros on a 100 metre hose last year. If everyone brought say a 25 metre hose we could join them all up be able to fill our pools and have more beer money left over. Any takers i'll start by bring a 50 metre.

We're going to get a pool out there. You can get them quite cheap in Carrefour, then leave it behind when you go.

Are there not hoses already at the campsites? We're bringing a pool and assumed (looking at pics from previous years) that hoses were supplied?

Edit: We're staying at Houx Annexe, not Beausejour.

At BSJ last year there were small hoses on the standpipes which were the attendants. Fine for washing your car but they weren't very long, definitely wouldn't stretch anywhere near the distance to our pool.

Yep - need to buy them there or take them with you.

There's usually a few about, but people do sometimes borrow them and forget to take them back

Find a big group of people and they usually have one, although they will probably ask you to do some kind of forefit to borrow the hose..........

Stretched to our pool from the standpipe - maybe 30m or a bit more.

Took an age to fill though!

Hi there,

They definitely don't supply hoses in BJ.

Last year we couldn't find a hose long enough so we borrowed a plastic bin from the burger van at the entrance, took the back seats out of the Beetle convertible one of our party had driven down in and used it as a makeshift water tanker to fill the pool up. It took a fair few trips.

We did get some very funny looks with a brand new Beetle parked next to the standpipe with a hose going into the back of it!

Best use for a beetle I'd say
There are those that say the next step after making a beetle convertible is to chop the bottom off .... and on that bombshell
