Whats your favourite part of Le Mans weekend?
For me its the drive down in convoy with all the other cars. Seeing loads of exotics parked up at petrol stations & cafes as you drive down.
Had a fantastic run down last year including a great run on the last stretch of Autoroute before you hit Le Mans. Us and another Elise, 3 911's 2 TVR's and an Ultima. Clear road, no traffic, no plod - just cruising down at 120-130 in the sun.
Coming back is the worst. Knowing you have a whole year to wait is painful.

First le mans driving, but previously its been being on the camp site. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, theres nothing like it.
Being in your tent waiting to fall asleep, hearing the cars, fireworks, parties.
ROLL ON!!!
3 days to go chaps! Say hi if you see a stickered up clio 182 in orange on the way down.

Standing at Arnage on 1st lap, you can feel wall of sound coming down Idianapolis, stunning.
We have table for 14 booked at Hotel de France on Friday lunchtime.
Could be a very genteel ride to hotel afterwards.deano400 said:
