I'm going to get flamed for mentionning the word sleep in the same sentance as Le Mans but I'm going to push on regardless.

Other than pitching in the shade does anyone have any top tips for keeping tents cooler. Normally 6am = too hot to sleep. Is there anything you can put over the tent, or in it, to keep it sane and allow one to get a little kip or am I in the car with the air-con on again?!

Lots of tin foil all over your tent to reflect the suns rays .... also means that the CIA mind probes will not be able to get to you as you sleep

Try soaking a towel in the paddling pool and placing over the tent to keep it cool.

Isn't it tricky balancing a paddling pool on top of your tent?

Looing at the Le Mans weather type threads it looks like mother nature may solve all of your problems. If it's like 2001 then you will need a sleeping bag and a moat around your tent......
