Heading down Wednesday.. hope everyone enjoys Le Mans this year.. hope the weather won't spoil things too much, as it looks like it may be a bit wet at times.
Just found these pics though... hope they have got things a bit more finished. These were taken on the test day on the 4th. Surely they won;t have the place looking like a building site.. they have had a whole year to do that work.

Hope its not looking that shoddy come the weekend.
Its taken them long enuff to do it.

I think that the Germans had a little to do with delaying things...
Then again i think it will be like all the European building jobs you ever see. 3 mths and nothing happens, you get all upset, then the next morning you wake up to find they finnished the thing in the night!!!

Has anyone been down to the test.. or been in Le Mans since and seen what it is like walking around of what the progress is like?
I was at testing and there will be a temporary village.
Some of the shops will be open by the looks of things. They are all new boutique looking shops.Do not expect the usual walk down through the village from the end of pit straight tunnel though.
I am on le harve crossing tonight.
Have a good one.
