Insurance companies and telephone numbers!!!
Discussion
Heaven forbid that you need to use your insurance company for any antics over the weekend, have just noticed that there is absolutely no referance to an International Dial number on any documentation and when you call they dont seem to have any knowledge.
All they issue is 0845 or 0800 numbers in most cases. These are UK Only.
Am currently on hold with our insurers at the momelnt but even customer services and claims are struggling with this.
They seem to assume that everyone will have relay cover (probably sensible) and that they are happy to wait in some cases weeks for the insurer and the relay company to get together, and that you would not want to contact the insurance company and notify them untill you have returned to UK.
Me personally - i would want them to know as soon as anything happened!!!!

If you call from a mobile then you should just be able to dial the number;
