Well for the first time in 10 years i'll not be there.. despite some very tempting offers so far i've resisted, although I did last until friday last time when i booked a last minute flight to paris, got a train from there and hitched back with a mate... so you never really know untill saturday morning....

So im planning to settle down in the paddling pool in the garden, with a crate of lager and motorsTv on full blast... at random intervals I'll let off some particularly loud fireworks, and startup the tuscan.

So anyone else going cold Turkey this year ?

Somebody remind me in time next year that I will regret not going!

Could have had a complete set of tickets yesterday but can't ditch work at this short notice

not going either this year. should have travelled down yesterday from the north. too many pulls on my time, work and home, using up too many holidays on other things and the price of petrol. (15ish mpg from aberdeenshire, it has an effect)

but next year, the bentley will be keen on another holiday in france around mid june like previous years.

I'm not going owing to my first child being due next week.

Found out last night that 'The Camembert Run Boys' who I normally go with have been asked for a volunteer to run the pit-board for one of the teams but no one is willing to give up 24 hours of drinking. I would have done it just for the experience of 24 hours in the pitlane

same here - new job and new island and all that, plus I'm utterly broke thanks to the ex, so that's that then.

But, next year.......

My second isn't due for another four weeks but as I'm on a jaunt next week with some mates I reckon I'd be on a sticky wicket to get a pass for LM as well. Bit annoying as a chap at work is selling a package as he can no longer go.

Not camping this year - small cottage just north of town

I'll miss the noise of Beausejour though

Damn. Was going to have a peak at your car, if you wouldn't mind?

Nope...was hoping to lose my LM virginity, but it'll have to wait for a year...we've just got back from honeymoon and I couldn't spare time or money.

More's the bugger, a good friend's got himself on a corporate jolly, including a helo transfer to the site!!!

I'm not going as I've never considered it before, after all this hype I think I'll make an effort next year though, don't have a car at the moment either so its a bit of a setback!

Had to pull out last Weds :-( I broke my collar bone 6 weeks ago in a mountain bike accident and had to have it plated and screwed back together again. It's still too sore to wear a seatbelt over my right shoulder and my doctor has told me I can't drive for another 2 weeks.

All my mates in Team Langoustine went down today. At least I managed to sell my campsite and grandstand tickets.

Never mind only a year to go.
