I just heard on Motors TV that next year that all the closed top cars will have to have air conditioning!!!!!

Internal temperatures can easily reach 65-70oC... you try working in that heat for hours on end. There is plenty of evidence to show that someone within their thermal confort zone will outform those who are uncomfortable.

I know rally teams considered it for the Acropolis, but it's usually disregarded due to weight concerns...

I thought they had suits that plugged into the coolant circuit? Or is that just the LMPs?
