So has anyone stayed awake for the whole 24 hours??
Discussion
Stayed awake from 10.00 Saturday morning until 01.00 Monday morning.....as I started to fall asleep in my soup on the bot home. just under 40 hours in total. Still sleepy now.
During Saturday I watched from start finish area, round to Tetre Rouge and back along the inside of the track. Then early evening at the campsite, Karting Nord. Midnight onwards at Arnage. For sunrise at Mulsanne and then onto Prosche curves. Popped into Arnage village for early morning coffee and then back to Karting Nord.
Spot of breakfast and then back up to the start finish area until the end of the race. track invasion for the podium presentation.
There is a very interesting drug available on prescription from your doctor called Modafinil. The branded PC names are Modalert and Provigil. Early US military trials to create more vigilent soldiers led to the development of the drug. This was overtly folled by FDA trials in the treatment of Narcolepsy.
The good news is it passed all tests 10 years ago. There are no sleep deprivation effects unlike amphetmine or ephadrine based drugs or substances.
Ask your doctor - common cause for prescription is working across time zones and wokring long hours - he or she should prescribe after a few questions.
