If you get there nice and early and camp next to the fence you could watch the race from your site, especially if you take something to give you some height like ladders or similar. Great view when there isn't a crowd blocking your view. All the guys this year were writing stuff into the fence using beer bottles!!!

That new earth embankment is great - plenty of room, good corner to watch the action in the early hours of Sunday morning (while necking red wine). However, the floodlights on the outside of the bend are a bastard when you're taking photos, and those slopes will be murder when it rains...
