You could try the your local TVR Dealer - I know that Castles near Bishops Stortford stock a lot of the stuff.

That was an actual factory TVR stand.

Check out their website, should point you in the right direction.

That place was an embarrassment.

They had brochures for cars you couldnt buy and the cheek to sell t shirts with "TVR - Le Mans 2006". on them, despite no car being in the race.

The worst example of the factory trying to cash in on TVR drivers I have ever seen!

I wondered why it was there but bought a shirt anyway.

Was not manned by English so perhaps a French dealer or just rent a crowd.

Was not impressed by the finish of the car on display though - particularly the exhaust.

www.tvrinstinct.com/

Saw the stand too. Bought a black Polo shirt, they gave me a Purple TShirt which has an ACO LM style '24' on the sleeve which I think is a bit cheeky of them. Got 3 mugs as well, Buy 2 Get 1 FREE

I saw the same car in '04 and it had PH stickers all over it on the stand this year.

Personally I thought it was good to have a presense there it says they have their eyes on Le Mans for the future when everything is sorted out, no worse than Corvette/Aston trying to sell road cars that are nothing like the race cars or Audi selling uninvolving FWD saloons based on the R10 winning.

I spoke to the blonde chap for quite a while and guess he must be someone quite senior as he knew his stuff, both old and new. Curiosly what he said to me means that you could, just possibly purchase all of the cars they had pictures of...

Believe it is the T400R/440 of rpajanwell..although could be wrong.

Stand was good to see there and it attracted a lot of attention, although IMHO, a lot of the merchandise did seem on the "tacky" side. Some of the Chim/Griff crowd I was with were also a little peeved that there seem so little applicable to their enthusiasm/ownership. Nonetheless - good to see some advertising of the brand.

Baz,
was our car: we were asked if the T440R or the Sagaris could be put on the stand when we were on the way to Le Mans - which explains why the T440R was a bit road weary.
As you may have gathered, my Sagaris only made it as far as Baie de la Somme services - where it was crashed into the concrete central reservation barrier by the driver. I was in the T440R with Jane, who saw it happen in the rear view.

Minimum 10K damage, and uplifted by Green Flag. I was not best pleased, but we just got on with the rest of the weekend.

A warning if you go to these services and go outside on the decking take particular care in the wet. It is very very very very very very slippery. A friend and I witnessed a french businessman slip on there and he went down with a real bang, and looked badly hurt. Clutching his ribs etc. Our lack of first aid knowledge was only exceeded by our lack of Fench but we found a member of staff who took one look at him and went to call for medical help.
