Free the Le Mans Cockerel

Does anyone know what happened to our cockerel.
Last seen with its spinning tail gracing the entrance to our tent on the Maison Blanche site at 11.50pm Sat night.
We seem to recall the cries of "chicken chicken" sometime after we retired. In the morning she was gone.
We spent most of the next day searching for clues around the site, but no joy.
If you have any information on the fate of our so called chicken, please reply.
