Loads on the way to le-mans,

including one TVR with pistonheads stickers on the doors, who let go of the throttle next to us (we we're driving 90km/h behind a friends camper with a red Sylva Fury on the trailer) they laughed about the our yellow sylva striker with luggage rack and orange flags, made a piccie with a phone waved and drove on,

does anyone know who this is I want that piccie.

I met Polarbert and did you know he got done for speeding on the way down?

How you doing fella, hope your managing a smile. It makes a great story and you were pretty famous down there for it so always an upside. Clearly you made it back ok, sent you a text about a spin in the Cerb but assume you had maybe left - another time, maybe on a tunnel run or somesuch.

I met Touching Cloth, loved the sound of his car so much that I will be trading in my Porker forthwith and converting to a life of TVR'dom.

That's very honest of you, good man.

Yep, had a few close calls, and got a severe scowling when they spotted my Road Angel power cable. Other than that it was a good run.

I'm now clean again!!!

Nice meeting you

Yep, met a few but cannot remember names.

Spotted Viper500 arriving as I was heading off site. Wave and smile exchanged.
Spoke to Polarbeart, briefly, whilst in traffic.
Camped it up in the Houx with L100NNY and mates.
Said hello to various others including the guys in the black impreza who we bumped into on a few occassions (if you read this say hello, I can't remember your PH names).
And finally, met Lensey and his Mrs. Top man and what an awesome car, thanks for being the tour leader on the way down mate and sorry I didn't get to see you again over the weekend, we owe you a beer for your efforts.

All good and nice to put names to faces, even if I can't remember now I'm back.

I spotted a lot of PHers on the road, waved most times, I saw a few cars I can remember, DucatiGary in arnage corner's car park, m power under the tertre rouge bridge, loony's jag at the meet, and I met a few in person, Venom500, Mungo, Polarbert, Speed 8 on the ferry...

I think that was the best part of the trip, meetingloads of people from here...

Also crossed 3 nobles near mulsanne, V1GTO, V5GTO, and V6GTO, in that order...

saw Yellow Speed and Twin Pipes ( i THINK ) with a very nice Testarrosa that they politely parked outside our tent (well, and theirs as it was right next door) to oggle everytime we were in camp....

always nice to have nice things to look at - be it ladies or cars...

That was us in our costumes shortly before we got caught smoking and eating burgers by a party full of school kids, one shouted...

'superman doesn't smoke'

to which my mate said.

'its my day off'

The teacher was trying not to alugh as she lead them in to the waiting area, some caught up later and asked for photos too.

Got talking to XJSJohn and said hello to BalhamLotus as he staggered through our site late on Sunday beer in hand.... good effort.

Got talking to Richard and jayne at the car park for the ferry with their T440R and orange sagaris..... sadly the latter died on the way to Le Mans when put into a concrete barrier at 15-20mph and destroyed the front and rear of the car

Made us drive a little slower on the way down (for 20mins anyway).

Real shame....

Good to meet you guys too! Sorry about the cock up trying to get to the camping, didn't realise they had already shut the roads for the qualifying. Really enjoyed the run down, we even managed to spot the radar's

Mungo, sorry I didn't spot you, would've given you a wave. Yes its got a sports exhaust but its also de-catted! Gave it a bit of stick on the way home and I didn't even get a headache, god I love this car!
