After the pasting some of us gave Speedchills last year for poor service, I thought I'd just post a well done to them. Service this year was 200% improved, great food, cold drinks, large marquee with big screen and plenty of shade. Also Neil and the crew were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back next year

I'll second that, massive improvement on last year

Beer had been sorted out and was never a problem, good food options that made a change from eating dog burgers from the campsite vans, better toilet facilities, great marquee with big TV.

We'll be back next year!

Seconded - my first time at LM and I'd heard a few things about SC that made me a little apprehensive, but it very quickly became a staple haunt

would agree with that, excelent service and very handy ...

was talking to them breifly on sunday before our departure and they did say however that to get the same site again next year the fees would probably have to go up a bit due to the rental charges for the farm etc....

Given the breakfast, cold beer, toilets that you could almost sit down and read the paper in and access to the shaded path all the way through BSJ campsite to the porsche curves, i think would still be worth it for a few quid more.

One thing though ...... turn the volume down on the telly in the morning please ... some of us had hangovers!!!!

In general, top job lads!!!

A big from me, will definately be using them again next year.... only complaint, get MORE cigs next time!!

Oh yeah one other thing.

Anyone else have the random drunk in the white t-shirt and motorcycle boots accost them and wouldn't bugger off??

At one stage he was making derogatory comments about every female that went past and was generally all touchy feely with them and they hated it.... Was going to be a toss up between us lamping the or them.

Did he get thrown out in the end??

He turned up at the same petrol station as some of my compadres on the way back to Le Havre. Dark glasses were donned and conversational pieces said loudly in various foreign languages to try and dissuade him from accosting them.

There was a good chunk of his front wheel rim missing and the tyre was half flat. God only knows if he made it home alive.

He was very weird, thought he was with a stag party on the thurs night but not so sure. Apart from not changing his clothes he apparently turned up without a tent

Well done to Speed Chills, vast improvement on last year.

We saw the drunken nutter in the motorcycle boots wandering around Beausejour as we left on Monday morning, his mates had obviousley left him behind - or just hadn't turned up in the first place !!

Great Weekend and the Griff behaved impeccably all the way there and back.

I think he came down on his own without a tent as others have mentioned, he accosted us and would not go away, so we just left on the Friday afternoon.

He was strange accused one of my friends of being gay and from a convent school, which he thought was hilarious, we watched him go up to one guys wife and ask if she fancied a shag, the husband took it all in good grace, but whilst he found it all hilarious, others did not.

Thankfully that was the last we saw of him.

Agree with all the comments so far SC was an excellent venue to escape from the hoards and the heat, was thoroughly glad we had the membership!

Anyone else see the blokes on the kid’s bikes and the guy dressed in an all over gold gimp suit (or was it someone on here)? What the was that all about?! Very funny but also oddly disturbing!

Saw them about the same time as my mate went up to my doppleganger and asked him if he would pose in a picture with me, had our group, the dopplegangers mates and the peps next to the bar pissing themselves when we stood next to each other.

Gold man very disturbing.

Apparently it was a stag doo and he was supposed to be (represent) Goldfinger (bond)

yea dont get it either but funny in a bizarre way ... we saw them cycling along the road to porsche curves on kiddies bikes ... many badly grazed knees

Fantastic improvement for Speedchills this year, looks like Neil took on board all the feedback from last year. A real sanctuary from the heat and a top effort all round.

So i take it this is you:

I was one of his mates sat on the bench pissing myself as it happens!
