Glad to see there's a happy outcome out of the sad incident that seemed to us following behind ,happened in the blink of an eye !

Still amazed of such damage was done at I assume was something around 15 mph or so..

It was slow, but the damage was extensive - chassis etc etc. Main thing, both out of it uninjured.

I was the driver of said TVR I have avoided going online as was afraid what might have been written.....

Bottom line is Richard has been terrific about it. One of the best in times of crisis as I know from very personal experience! However, if I could use these esteemed pages to make a few statements:

Richard - Thanks for the chance to drive it - even if it was all too brief - & obviously, big SORRY

Steve - Sorry for ruining your 1st Le Man's experience but.....

Brendon/Jock - We would never have had the chance to meet other piston heads who were all great. But for agreeing to take Steve & I back to UK made the whole experience even better

Dave - As above & the ride down in the classy 1966 DB6

Jane - For helping take Richards mind off of it at every available moment. (I'll let you explain about the whole "Shopping" thing!!!)

And to everyone else who hasn't given me too much stick for the crash. Which was about 10% derv. 50% driver inability. & 40% "What the f........................!"

As someone once said. The chances of something going wrong are directly proportional to how many people are watching, & the square route of their importance. So there must have been a lot of important people at that service station.
