Yeah, they tend to do that. Very often you'll normal find cars parked behind obstacles (big green lane divider, bridge pillar) on the motorway, and only as you pass them you notice the little square cut out of the tailgate where the radar goes...
Guess we were lucky as it was around here we decided to "press on" a bit

Had been speeding behind a 355 and KetchupSack Elise over 140kmh for ages until we all slowed for a coned off single bit of carriageway. End up being pulled for having no number plate on the front and getting 90Eur fine. Had to open the bonnet to let the old girl cool down so must have been obvious to even those two numpty Plod that I'd not been sat at 90kmh. Took it easy after that as the poor thing seemed to be bleeding black stuff.
Note to self - must find out just how "out" my speedo is as 140kmh on mine is probably more like 160kmh on the road.

Yup ... pair of lads in a RUF .... the had been having a hard burn down the new autoroute and were just winding it in a touch ...
They didnt get fined Euro90 however ... from what i recall it was closer to 1,500 Euro's and more than just a Paddington Bear Hard Stare from Le Flic too ...

Were these roadworks / contraflows or where they sometimes drop the speed limit at on / off ramp junctions?
Just curious because we slowed down to posted for all road works but did not adjust speed at the junctions, just stayed in outside lane like the locals ....
Or are these single track N roads that you were hustling along?
Worth knowing why they were nicking you for my own personal avoidance in the future!!

But my mate did get pulled for crossing a solid white line and cost him 90euros. Bit nasty as plod didnt see him overtake but noticed he had moved up the line of cars one place near Gace. They,2 motorbikes, seemed determined to get us for something and had been following us,passing then waiting ahead for our convoy (3 cars)to pass for a few km's. Course my buddy had to pi55 about and come past me (quite safely mind) and give them an excuse to nick him. His parting comment was "HOPE YOU GET KNOCKED OUT THE FCUKING WORLD CUP" thought they were going to nick him for that aswell.

We passed you when you got done and they you caught us up a few miles up the road then slowed down and pulled in just in front of us..... I doubt you would have missed 2 superheros in a black 360.
