Saw this on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Le-Mans-2006-wi

(no its not mine!) and wondered what other memorabilia people managed to bring back from the race.

I'll start with 2 ACO traffic cones,no.20 Pit board and a 550 Alloy wheel !!

Like others -lots of dust. And a passenger footwell full of Pistachio shells(aggressive cornering my ase )

Plus a few new noises from the car (possibly some worn ARB bushes?) and a pull to the left under hard braking (think it might be a sticking caliper)

Oh and a hoooooooooooooooooooooooooggggggeeeee smile

I got a broken bearing "thing". Looks like something fromt he front suspension.

I was found in the grawel before the Dunlop bridge.

A black LMP car had a lose left front wheel early in the race, must be fromt that car..

Enyone remembering what car that was?

We came back minus a Go-Ped silencer, after it fell off on a trip from the Porsche curves to Arnage and back after the race had finished. We cycled back to look for it, but reckon someone somewhere picked it up as a "trophy" and is currently trying to work out which car it came off!

a broken suspension leg. houx annexe is the best campsite available y'know.

next year theyre actually hoping it will be fit for cattle to reside there (though this will obviously take a lot of work).
