Hi,
I have heard from the TL boys that HA campsite is at risk from plans to build a stadium complex on the site. If this goes ahead, the site will change significantly or even disappear for 2007.

Has anyone else heard about this and shed any more light?
Apparently the ACO will move HA bookings to another site if needed but beeing put 'somewhere with spare places' doesnt sound that appealing!

Know as much as you unfortunately. Thats one of the reasons we've gone for Karting Nord for 2007 and not HA again. At least we know where we're camping and won't get sent to some dodgy municipal site miles outside the circuit.

Hi, first time on here, we have been using houx annexe on and off for 10 years now, and the ticket agents and the aco have been saying that the houx annexe would be built on for atleast the past five years, and nothing has ever happened !!!they said they were going to build a velodrome last year!!...but we have booked again, none the less !

I've booked again for next year. This rumour is always doing the rounds, a couple of years ago a hotel was supposed to be being built on HA. Hopefully it will all continue as it is.

it would be terrible if houx annexe was razed. i for one would really hate to have travel further to get scabies.

I believe the HA area is planned to be the car park for the new football stadium. So it might continue as a tarmac campsite like the Expo site.

We used to camp in a garden just by the bridge that goes under the mulsanne at tetre rouge and the couples house that we stayed in was compulsorily purchased last year as Le mans district are going to build a stadium on it, as far as I know that is still going ahead as the house is sitting empty waiting to be demolished.

Hello TC...

Doing good thanks...how about yourself?

Hows the old girl shaping up? Still terrorising the neighbourhood? Making children cry and that?

They seemed to be building some kind of tram stop outside HA this year. I thought that a bit strange for something that gets used once or twice a year, but a football stadium would make more sense.

Team Langoustine are over to discuss the Annexe with the ACO at the beginning of October, so shall report back the findings on their return.

No that is the official ACO 2006 review.
Worth buying apart from the fluffy wet noise the Audi's make.

TL's official 2006 review will be published as soon as one of us has a clear enough flashback to remember what happened !
