Title says it all really , Ok so the SIlverstone event hasnt quite had the promotion LM gets, but then again LM doesnt exactly get a lot of coverage in the UK..

Here we have a homegrown event with some fantastic action.

If your a Le Mans fan, make a note in your diary and come next year, you dont even need a passport or take time off work.

I was there but so wanted to be, after the 1000km at donnington, this would have been great and a cracking way to plug the gap till June

Bit tricky to answer this question - between Friday and Sunday we were everywhere over the circuit. Camped at Whittlebury, watched from every possible corner (night and day), drank in the bar, checked out the band, missed the ferris wheel, saw Shane Lynch, and generally had a cracking weekend.

Next years in the calendar already but will probably head down after work on Friday and aim to pitch up in the circuit.

I live in Silverstone and to be honest - the whole weekend appeared to be a bit of a let down. There wasnt many people there and the facilities were relatively poor, in comparison to what there normally is.
Huge advantage being able to walk down the paddock for once though! Bring on LM07

Your suggestions for improving the Britcar 24 hour race in 2007?

I'm sure I saw that Shane guy as well, didn't he used to sing or something?

I was camped just up the hill from you, was in the orange clio 182. I have a few snaps of your car.

I have to say that the Britcar 24 hours was amazing! The amount of access you had was unparralled. You could go anywhere! We watched the race from the podium for around 2 hours in total. Was going to go to Stowe but couldn't be bothered to drive all the way around the outside of the circuit. Parked on a hill at Abbey and enjoyed the racing there. Watched some night racing and walked around the pits while they were fixing cars and doing pit stops. Saw some absolutely amazing girl on the Sunday as well.

Graham do you reckon next year will be the same with the amount of access allowed to the general public? I think it is expected that more people will go which will probably mean it will be closed to the public. That was the highlight for me though, being able to walk around the pits.

Polarbert- volunteer to help with the refuelling next year and you'll get plenty of access as well as free entry and meal vouchers

Were you the guy who reversed into one of the those metal poles which were stuck in the ground for absolutely no reason? Hopefully it was nothing more than a light scratch on the bumper and nothing on the paintwork.

It was the lad in the red clio camped next to Polarbert that hit the post , not Polarbert (luckily)

Polarbert - I was camped with Vette 1978 - you should have popped down for a beer - we had plenty !

I was there too, I watched a fair bit of the night race from the pit lane grandstand and then watched a few hours of the early morning race from the inside of the circuit with a bacon roll and a hot chocolate whilst wiating for the fog to clear!

I actually managed to sleep for a few hours in the Europa in the car park, albeit with a stiff neck!
