Yo,

After reading back for ages on this forum, I can't find much information on this campsite.

We got fed up with all the tossers on the trackside site we were on last year. Thus, we wish to stay somewhere we can chill in peace before and after the race, and not be so worried about getting our stuff nicked.

For the folk who have stayed here in the past, where is the best place to book it through??

Cheers. thumbup

I stayed there twice last year Moto 24 in April and the week before LM in June great camp site I'm not found a way to book it other than drive up to the gate! Dont bother with the fax or telephone numbers on the web page they have never responded.. The lady that runs it dosnt speak any English or German or Italian or Dutch just French.... But is very helpful I will stay again in April for Moto 24 (if I go)..

Concur with everything that happy_snapper says. We've stayed there for the last 3 years - the first year we booked through Just Tickets and since then we've just arrived unannounced, as it were. To be fair, my brother has a French work colleague who rang the site to book us in, but when we arrived, the lovely French lady had not got us on her list. rolleyes Still, it didn't matter because there always seems to be plenty of room in the annexe part of the site, away from the lake.

There are a few electric hook-ups around the site which are handy, and the washing and toilet facilities are pretty good to. It tends to get comfortably busy without getting crowded and there's plenty of space to pitch, without having to worry about marking out your plot in case someone puts a tent on it while you're gone.

If you're not too bothered about a short drive to the circuit, and the fact that you or one of your mates is going to have to stay off the booze, then I'd certainly recommend the site. We'll be there again for a 4th year in '07 with a group of 6 in 4 cars. Maybe see you there?

A couple of photos to show the space we had this year.

OK, thanks for the info. That all sounds like a good plan to me. We'll just turn up on the Thursday.
