adding person to ferry...?

my mates are all planning to book the ferry to le mans very soon but i'm a bit brassic at the moment so can't commit to going just yet.

was wondering if one of the big ferry companies (probably use speedferries again) would mind adding a third person to a car at a later date? any thoughts?

Add the 3rd person now, if they don't go on the day say they are ill when you get to the port.

I don't think Speedferries charge for passenger amendments anyway

When booking just try it with a car load of 4 and then again with just 2 - if the price is the same then book it with the higher number. I've done this with the Isle of Man and a mate had the same with Le Mans last year. When booking and they ask for a name just put in TBA. They never query a fewer number of passengers but may charge for a higher number.
