How much of the track can you drive?

One of the highlights for me last year (my first year of driving down in my mk1 golf gti) was accidently coming onto the track, and driving on it for a bit! Its definately something I will be doing this year, I just want to know how much of it you can drive, and when is the best time to do it?!

Unfortunately the Police were out in force with their speed cameras (although with 4 people in it and loadsa shopping i couldnt go that fast) I understand this, but woulda been sweet to have a toe down blast!

Tetre Rouge, right down the Mulsanne, through Mulsanne Corner onto Indianapolis and upto Arnage, then the blast down to the start of the Porsche Curves complex....

Friday is a great time, plenty of others with the same thoughts...

For a proper blast Sunday night is always good

Get yourself a Corvette and drive the entire track just hours before the race starts. Did this last year so hopefully the same will be arranged for 2007. Maybe this year I'll concentrate on keeping the foot down and not trying to video/drive/take pictures all at the same time.

Getting nailed by a Z06 down the pit straight was quite special!

Well it was my first time in 2006. Couldn't sleep so got up and went for a drive. Found the track before the police and caned it big time! Fantastic! Slowed down as the police started setting up the cameras and went and parked on Indeannapolis. What a view and a laugh! Then went to St Saturnin! Unmissable!!

I drove the Public road part of the track last year on the Sunday evening, not too many cars about and no police so was good fun, the mulsanne does divert off to Round abouts so its not the complete straight.
