Well, my friends and I have a bit of jaunt planned this year.
Starting off with an early leave on Speed ferries to Spa for a Trackday. 5 of us in 3 cars heading to that and I've even put the gf down to drive the Cerb round.... not sure how it's going to go.
After that, a brief hop to (and I quote from the hotel owner) "The Green Hell" for the ADAC 24 hour race at the Nurburgring where we will be meeting the rest of the program team for a few beers and some late night racing.
Then to Le Mans, via Reims and Charles de Gaulle airport to pick up another passenger.
Managed to find 2 small cottages to stay in just outside the circuit so the girls can have their electricity and the boys can have their peace from nagging. Think there's 14 of us staying numbers keep changing.
Really really looking forward to this year’s event, 75th anniversary as well isn't it?
Just the stickers to sort now.

Ridds,
We too are doing the ADAC 24 followed by Le Mans! Be interested to hear what you've got planned, particularly for the Ring. Never been before and not sure about a few things but I am sure it is going to be incredible! We are getting the euro tunnel very early on Friday 8th and heading to the Ring. On advice of some German PHers we are going to head straight to the Adenauer Forst campsite (because of our late arrival it is the one most likely to have camping pitches left). I haven't ordered any camping passes or race tickets (pay on the gate I think). Planning to leave Sunday night after the race and head towards Reims. Gonna visit Reims and the old pit buildings on Monday before leaving for Bois where we have a great hotel booked next to an enormous go kart track! Then onto Le Mans and Karting Nord on Tuesday morning. Sound similar to your plans? Got any tips for doing the ADAC 24?

We're off on Speed Ferries on the Wednesday, Stay overnight at Spa the Wednesday and Thrusday.
Drive to The Ring on Friday to meet up with the guys from work who are flying over. Booked into a hotel 2 mins from the circuit.
Drive out Monday morning to Reims like yourselves, so we could have a bit of a convoy going! Details of the hotel At Bois would be good as we have nowhere to stay en route to LM yet and that Kart track sounds like a nice fill in for that afternoon, next morning.
Fancy a race?

We are hoping to get to the hotel mid afternoon on the Monday after exploring Reims in the morning. So staying at the hotel on Monday night only. Prob heading off about 9ish on the Tuesday in the hope of getting a good pitch at Le Mans. I guess you aren't leaving the ring till Monday morning so wouldn't arrive in Bois until Mon evening? We could catch up with you in the bar for a cold one
Too bad if you won't be down untill the Tuesday but at least you have an idea of where to stay now!

ref Nurburgring 24. I should be racing this year (the deal has been done but don't want to jinx anything!) i'm not sure how it will all work with pit passes etc but nearer the time drop me a mail and i'll see if i can get you in the pits at some point.
MBH,
That would be incredible, it goes without saying! Have you raced the event before? I have many questions but don't want to pester you with them, particularly if you can't answer them!
