I am hoping to go to le mans this year, Is there anyone local to berkshire that could give me a lift to the site and on the way back again? I will pay my half of the journey

Don't you think it's a bit dangerous putting this on the internet? I know PH is one big happy family, but there are some seriously weird people about and you're going to travel to France with a stranger?

Haven't you got any friends you could go with?

hmm..... have u got tickets etc? Were heading down from berkshire, and have a fella potentially coming with no passenger who might be cool with it?!

Might be breaking the "no girls allowed" rule we follow thou

I am going over on the Wednesday (assumming I book the ferry!) and back on Sunday night. I live is Sussex but am travelling with a female friend from Swindon. No exotica for us though as we are travelling in my Hyundai Sante Fe!

To complicate matters it looks as if my wife is coming over via Eurostar on the Sunday and she'll Eurostar back.

Landy Girl. I have a single female in my gang that might be looking for a passenger. She's booked to come on Tuesday night and coming back from Monday. Drop me a mail if you are interested.

Hmmm... I'm going over with no passenger at the moment. Having just traded my VX220 for an S2000 I'll probably have *slightly* more luggage than Tango

I'm travelling from Pewsey in Wiltshire (to the left of Hungerford) so could act as a fallback option if that helps?

And probably slightly more comfortable, lol.

landy_girl, I'm happy to offer my passenger seat but be aware that any of the above offers will, almost definitely, be more comfortable. It will be chunnel not ferry when I get round to booking it rolleyes

No offence but I don't think I'd want to be driving a strangers car through customs, full of their kit having been asked to leave it 2 miles down the A2, kind of difficult to explain away.......
