Ipod - shuffle mode... best way.

Or if you dont have an ipod, burn loads of mp3 cd's in random order, much better than listening to whole albums.

why thank you kind sir! I have a feeling this years one is going to be fairly similar, however with the addition of an early hardcore and jungle selection in there too, thinking this will be sweet for the overtaking sections!

Maybe you could find room for the soundtrack to the 1981 flim (the cannonball run 1) by ray stevens great for overtaking driving

Well, this would have to be one of my favourite subjects. There is a long-standing unspoken competition between me and the other members of my Le Mans group to create the best driving CD!
I tend to base mine around 80s/90s "Cock Rock", and my 2007 CD will contain some (if not all) of the following:

Van Halen - Jump
Boston - More Than A Feeling
Whitesnake - Here I Go Again
Def Leppard - Armageddon It
The Who - Pinball Wizard
G'n'R - Sweet Child
Rainbow - Since You've Been Gone
ZZ Top - Gimme All Your Lovin'
Kiss - Crazy Nights

I defy anyone to resist the latent urge to wind down their window and cruise, elbow atop its sill whilst listening to this selection!

The only way to start the run to Le Mans is with......The Cannonball soundtrack!

Follow this up with
AC/DC Live,
Appetite For Destruction,
Naughty By Nature,
Dazed & Confused soundtrack,

...and when necessary, turn off the stereo and listen to the V8 aswell.
