Anyone any suggestions for a cheap company (prefer Midlands based) from where we can hire a Transit size van - going over on the Tuesday morning (to set up 'base camp') and coming back to UK the following Monday evening. Obviously need foreign cover.

Can you hire cars from the car hire companies, e.g. the ones who locate around airports?
Pritchards van hire in meole brace area of Shrewsbury didn't mind me taking a van over a couple of years ago. They have transits of all sizes.
