I've never had a go at lemons and was wondering what is like? Are the karts the old bangers I would expect at an event like this? What are the prices like?

Don't think they operate during LM weekend but I might be wrong - anyone know for sure?

The karts are definitely running during LM. Never been bothered about tiring out the drinking arm by holding on to a kart for 15 minutes. Seems all too tiring in the heat when you could be having an icy cold one.

Yeah the karts still operate and there are two tracks next to each other (the older looking one is the best, the newer one requires no skill or brakes).
I can't remember the prices exactely but it was something like 15/20/25 Euros for 10 minutes, which lasted more like 15 - 20 minutes. The prices are different for the friday, saturday and sunday IIRC, but we turned up with a load of other people so they walked up to the board with the price on it, and increased the price with us watching them, typical French laugh.
It's good though, you have no briefing, no overalls, no visors, and can do what ever the hell you want .
The karts are your typical arrive and drive type karts.

Sorry the English link doesn't work but you should find what you want. I'm pretty certain it's available during race week.

We did it last year, 20 Euro's a head.

The karts seemed fast enough to me, but the drink had a hold on me by then !

The RS4's using the kart circuit in the evening for joyrides was better to watch, although I needed the eyepatch to get a proper look ! drink

When were the RS4s on? Would have liked to have seen that.

At about 19:00 on the Saturday night the kart track was taken over by the Audi corporate hoards.

Loads of Q7's were being used to bus people from their cosy hospitality up to the karting track.

On the track were about 4 shiny red RS4's with factory drivers loading up with 3 passengers at a time and doing 2 full bore laps of the kart track....quite a sight, and sound !! driving

We're in BSJ this year so it's on the way. Give us a chance to have a sit down for a bit!

Very true, I'd forgotten about the walk. What a walk...

Not bad atually, and reasonably good value at €20 a pop (15 mins I think). Karts aren't that bad (for arrive and drive, they're no 2 strokers) and its actually a reasonable circuit.

Be careful if you've lived off of burgers and haven't been for 4 days. It brought a new dimensi0on to the concept of "touching cloth"....

If you wanted to get away from the circuit for a while (WHY?) there is also a track about 10 miles(max) away up the N23 near Monfort le Gesnois. Passed it once but never tried it.
