Making your car Le Mans-able. What are you doing?
Discussion
In order to be confident that my car will make it there are back with as few problems as possible I have a couple of jobs i'm going to do to it.
This includes replacing cambelt and tenioner, replacing water pump, sorting out the hoses leading to the rad, and possible replacing the rear beam, but stickering it up is more of a priority then the last one
.
For all those driving un-reliable cars, are yours being prep'd for the sacred journey?

My car maybe a shitbox rusty old escort, but, I have no worries about the drive at all. Its never let me down before, so why should it?
I will be giving it a good clean, an oil change as it'll be due, and thats it. Oh, and stickers. Of course.
And I might fix my back bumper on, but hey, who needs that.
I'll be the one passing you all at the Esso (45mpg baby!)

My 10 year old VR6 has done the trip 3 times with no bother at all so far.
Mind you, will be not be joining any more 'two-mile-a-minute' convoys as on previous LM's tho'...wish to avoid expensive forced trips to a cash point in the company of men in uniforms !
