Portsmouth/Poole - Cherbourg/Caen on the Friday

Any LeManers going Portsmouth/Poole or Cherbourg/Caen on the Friday? I haven't booked yet until tommorrow, but we are travelling up from Zummerset on the Friday, back on the Monday and just wondered if anyone else was booked or planning such a route.

Also anyone know what the on-site grub is like these days at LeMans, and the queues. It is 20 years since I was there last.

Allan, Food has been crap for several years but, in my experience, the last two years the food sold in The Village restaurants has been better than OK. Best to get there early though as they do get a lot of use at popular times.

I note it's been a long while since you last visited Le Mans. Aside from the loos and showers which have not progressed you'll find getting around quite straightforward now. Enjoy, I hope!. R
