Morning all,

I'm heading down this year but due to work commitments I can't head down on Wednesday with the rest of my lot, and they want to get to Houx Annexe early enough to set up a decent size plot as we've got at least 6 cars coming - fair enough really, so long as they don't reserve a plot for me next to the crappers it's all good!

So the question is, anybody from here heading do Le Mans (ideally Houx Annexe) via Eurotunnel on Thursday morning, and mind if a TVR joins your convoy? :-)

Im going down Thursday morning... although we're staying in Basejour and we're are on the 7.55 P&O ferry from Dover.

We're coming from Rochester so our route will be M20 all the way...

Keep you eye out for 2 silver BMW's with bright orange stripes on them!

Giles26 is heading down from Walderslade in a Red Griffith if I remember rightly and he's on the same ferry as us aswell....

I'm on the 0750 Eurotunnel on the Thursday, we're staying at Houx...going to hoof straight down the autoroute rather than take the scenic route this year.

ETA you're free to tag along with us !

That may well be a plan... I may also have a WRX and a Boxster in tow as well, but they are unreliable toe-rags and haven't got their tickets sorted yet so not 100% that they'll be coming...

We're on the 07.20 Eurotunnel - rag tag group of 8 cars (Caterham / TVR) - Autoroute to Yvetot for lunch then the sensible cars carry on via the autoroute and the rest of us have some fun down the back roads. Usual fast road rules apply, newcomers welcome.

I'm on same ferry as well. 205 GTI and two Fiesta ST's hopefully all stickered up (if I can pluck up the courage to risk ripping the flimsey paintwork of my GTI when its pulled off).

Anyone is welcome to join our convoy, probably give all Le Man-ers a wavey at the port or on the ferry.

Perhaps we could organise a hello drink on the ferry? I didnt bother with the club lounge thing this year, last year although it was nice, the food wasnt that good and expensive!

Do you guys have radios? We will have one in each car and I really recommend them, the range in France is great in the open countryside thumbup

Yeah it would be good to arrange a convoy for people on the P&O 7.55 from the ferry to le mans....

Maybe this should be a seperate thread?

Yep, we'll all have radio's. Although i'll have all my windows down and sunroof open to keep cool. and then the music turned way up to hear it over the noise, so I won't be able to hear the radio in my car.

I may wear a Burberry baseball cap to ensure the "windowz down, and da system up" image though hehe.

And yea we should definatly all meet up for a drink on the ferry. (non-alcholoic for the drivers of course though).

I'm on the eurotunnel at 9am going to houx annex. Going to rouen then drop onto the n138 for some scenic driving. We ususally take it fairly easy on the autoroute as le rozzers are sneeky. There will be 5 of us in the convoy, 996gt2, boxster s, audi a4 cab, noble m12 and 996 c2.

A good number of the White Rabbit crew are on the 0800 Norfolk Line ferry if anyone wants to join a convoy. They won't be hard to find!

Guy,

Do you know what time the 0800 ferry arrives in Dunkerque???

My little party are on the 7.55 P&O to Calais, and should be arriving at 10.30... considering Dunkerque is about 100 miles up the coast I imagine we'll be just in front of the WRR convoy...

It would be good to stick with the WRR crowd as I can follow them to the camp site...

Who 'in charge' of that convoy if anyone that I can quiz???

Thanks
Lee

Dunkirque is far less than that. Only about 30kms.
Ferry should land by 11am French time. (1 hr 45min crossign) so they won't be far behind you.
