1. Where best to stand at Le Mans for racing
As it's only the Bugatti circuit used for the MotoGP you can stand just about anywhere to see the action. But try to get in visibility of a TV screen to keep up with the out-of-sight action. When Rossi's bike broke down last year near the end of the race, we had no idea what had happened to him until we got home!beedj said:
2. Must-see sights in Loire area
Plenty of Chateux to see & wine to drink. Leonardo Da Vinci lived near Amboise and IIRC there was a pretty cool museum dedicated to him somewhere around Amboise (google it). As you are on the bike there are some awesome roads in the area, so just go cruising from village to village, bar to bar. Thanks for the suggestions.
Nobody else on here going ?

This site states : "Access to the grandstands is free (with the exception of pit, Privilege, Carrefour, Garage Vert and G.Durand grandstands). All around the circuit, there are strategically placed terraces – La Chapelle, le Musée, le Chemin aux Boeufs, les “S” bleus – with excellent viewing"
I assume the free grandstands fill up very early in the day ?
