Camping Tickets - Help Please!
Discussion
Hi, Newbie to the forums here.
Have been to LM 3 times before but have decided to branch off from the main group this year and travel with just 2 cars, although we have left it a bit late. I looked at the ACO website a few weeks ago and it said that all the camping places were sold out but gave the impression that tickets for Bleu Nord and Beausejour would be available from the start of May.
Cue a late night last night and another check this morning but not able to buy these. Are there any more tickets available for these (or any) areas?! Does anybody have any spares that we could buy?
If not then is there anywhere near the circuit that anyone could recommend to camp / stay that is reasonable and quite close?
We have already booked the ferries and I think they are non refundable.
Cheers
Adrian

That's interesting, BSJ and Bleu Nord not shown on the main screen where the other sites are listed but if you click on BSJ on the list on the left of the screen it does say available May 2007 and then "product exhausted" or something similar.
It's probably worth emailing the ACO direct and asking the question, they usually respond very quickly.

Thanks for your help guys.
Does 'Stock Exhausted' mean the same as Sold Out? Maybe a translation issue?!
Sent an e-mail last night to the address on the ACO website. Have not contacted them before and wasnt sure what to expect so I wrote a short e-mail in English then tried to repeat it briefly in GCSE French. I imagine they are too busy laughing to have replied yet.
I'll let you know how I get on. If there's no joy then I'll be in touch re: the Beausejour tickets Dobbo.
Cheers

It's not a translation thing 'cos the French version is equally confusing. It does indeed say that tickets will available from early May, and then goes on to say they've "run out" (epuise). I can feel an e-mail to the ACO coming on...
Btw, you GCSE French won't have been a problem. They speak English too so will have got at least the gist of your English version.

Brian at 1st-tickets.co.uk is very helpful, I didn’t get my tickets from him but he is extremely helpful. He rang me yesterday with camping tickets available give him a call.
Team Langoustine get a good vote form me, they sorted use out last week, got Houx Annex and grandstand tickets from him.

It seems that this year the demand has exceeded previous years and if the ACO are already making noises about BSJ being full, then tickets may not be available at the gate like previous years. It's worth peace of mind to have them in your hand before you arrive.
Fleabay is worth a visit. BSJ are not fetching much over cost.
If you want the Annexe, then expect to pay £150 per car. Failing that give the agencies a ring.
TL have got Musee available. This is at the Annexe, but much more private and manned 24Hrs by ACO staff. Not much in the way of facilities, but close enough to Annexe to use that.
Hope that helps

Had a reply to my e-mail from the ACO today (in English!).
They said that they had virtually ran out of Bleu Nord tickets and they seem to be allocating them on a first come first served basis. They said if I wasnt able to secure BN tickets then they would be able to offer me BSJ or Technopark tickets instead, all at the values quoted in Euros on their website (plus postage etc.. I would assume).
Thanks for all the replies though. I'll let you know how I get on.

Had a letter arrive at work today from the ACO offering me 2 tickets in Technoparc for 108,50 Euro including postage and packing.
Anyone camped at technoparc before? I dont think there are any shower facilities but are those in Beausejour worth having anyway?!

Have you looked at www.clubarnage.com? Theres an extensive guide on the Forums there. I haven'tt stayed at Tchnoparc, or BSJ so can't comment on either!
However buying tickets from the ACO or a trusted source on a forum is definitely the way to go, rather than Ebay.
