Recommended Last Minute Campsite
Discussion
Go to www.clubarnage.com and find some links to the Guide (new version due 6/6) this will give you some indication about the campsites, Beermountain.com also have a guide to the campsites.
The short answer is that without paying through the nose to ticket agencies (and you may even be too late for those) you are very limited for choice.
The likely option is Beausejour (BSJ)but the ACO appear to have stopped selling those direct saying they have run out which is a first, in previous years you could turn up and buy on the gate for BSJ. They might still sell on the gate, they might not - you can never tell with the ACO!
The sale and swap forum on CA is useful, there are tickets starting to become available and you might pick up something good nearer the time.
The campsites are very "laddish" - personally as a member of the fairer sex, I don't mind this too much but you know your lady better, some girls hate it with a passion! It is rough and ready, the toilets on the campsites aren't too bad in most cases but the queue for the shower will be at least 30 minutes long at most times of the day and lightsleepers find the music tricky to deal with!
If you're not too concerned about camping at the circuit, search this forum for Spay, it's the Municiple Campsite which is about 5km away from the circuit. Good facilites, much more refined but still has a good atmosphere.

Duncan. We are all heading down with the White Rabbit Racing crew.
We are camped at a fenced off spot on BSJ, which is fully booked I'm afraid. But if you get a ticket for BSJ, if you want we can bag you a space next to our site.
Between us "Team Cupra R" are bringing all the essentials. Gazeebo's, Generator, freezer, lights, music, and major cooking facilities. We also have some females with us, so we are also bringing a shower & toilet tent, which might be essential for Mrs RC!
You are more than welcome to join us and use our facilities and join the group.
We are all going down on the Wednesday morning, so will be there early enough to claim a spot for you if you are coming later.
Graham, "Saab geezer" is also in the WRR group, If his car is working by then.
Will talk to you about it next week.

Fantastic. I've looked at WRR before now but didn't notice yourself and Graeme on the list. Anyway that's a very generous and encouraging offer, thankyou. We are well equpped for camping but could be short on space depending on what car we travel in.
Speak to you on Tuesday?
