We just got our tickets and it seems MB has been carved out into blocks (A B C D etc)

Anyone got any idea whats what??

Shame liked the idea in MB that you could go where you like, we have had roughly same pitch for 5 years

General opinion is that this is to ease people in to 2008 when MB will be designated pitches (a-la Houx) to counter the problems of people arriving on Tues./Wed. and fencing of half of central France, leading to issues for people arriving Friday. I've also seen suggestions that the French fire inspector may have been to see the ACO, caughed a couple of times and pushed a copy of camping fire regulations over the table - with the spacing and fire lane sections highlighted.

I know it's going to upset a number of long-time MB campers but wouldn't have Houx any other way - getting a car out is a simple case of driving, not hunting down people to move cars/tents to get your car to the roadways!

We're in zone C, 2 batches of tickets booked seperately, so quite happy to get all the same zone!
