The map on the left hand side is the current one (I believe)

we're pitched right next to the toilet/shower block and snack bar...
So pretty handy for having a dump and a beer then?
That will be my reasoning to the rest of the gang!
At least it'll make timing when to go for a shower that much easier

Does anybody know what the blue and yellow dots are on the map, are they the electricity points? I hope not as there are not that many there!!!!
I'm assuming blue are the water stand pipes and yellow are the electric.
That it correct. The green dota are water and electric.
Ok thanks. I am in the block 1050 to 1056 and there is no electricity........I have load of cable and connectors etc are people usually quite willing to let other patch into there one.
Have not been to houx before and the only reason we are going is so we can run fridge and music etc and it would be a shame if we could not get power or is it ok once there?

We're in 1060 and 1061 ... ditto 1st time in Houx. I guess we will be linking into the electrity at 1064 to 1065. From what I've picked up on other threads, as long as you plug everyone's stuff back in, people aren't too fussed about connecting up. I was planning on taking a few 3-way strips so that we can add our power lead and leave room for another couple of additions etc.
What happens if it rains though? You'll have a potential of 10 or so plots all daisy chaining. And then the power strips get wet
. I'm guessing these aren't the water/showerproofed electricity points you get at fixed campsites... Take Euro->UK and UK->Euro adaptors (Careforre do sell them but run out PDQ) as you get a mish-mash of extension leads daisy-chained together.
The electric points have Euro sockets under little flaps, so vertical rain isn't a problem but not sure how they would stand up to horizontal, driving rain (and hopefully we won't have to find out!). You do need either a Euro extension lead or Euro->UK adaptor if your plugging in the the source (Euro extension leads are dirt cheap in Careforre too).
If you have a multiblock in a chain just shove it inside a bin bag, wrapping the open end under does a good-enough job unless we start flooding (again, I hope we won't find out).
One thing, if you daisy chain off of someone's bin bag wrapped multiblock DO re-wrap it after, not leave it for the over-night shower to take everyones power out and fry the ACO socket
