Can anyone direct me to a font that is pretty similar to the one used for Le Mans type



I'm trying to do some wording for this years chariots in a similar style.

it's not perfect, but the 'heures du mans' is pretty close to arial black set to 75% width, with the 24 as regular arial black

like i said, pretty close, but the S isn't quite there.

The '24' is Helvetica bold oblique, the rest is Frutiger, or a version of!

If you need any help setting anything up give me a shout, i'm doing quite a few cars for people this year!! driving

I believe you can get Frutiger font if you download Microsoft Reader

We've had these made up for our convoy, keep an eye for 14 cars with them on the rear window!

When I got some graphics made up by a printer for the car, i just took along something with the text style I wanted, such as the one you have. They then matched it perfectly.

I would have thought most printers will be able to so that.

bear in mind those logos are copyrighted by the ACO. I'm sure nothing will happen but they are.

Can't find the Le Mans font but a great source of free fonts is this one . There is one called Le Mans but it isn't the same as the script in the logos.

I can do the outlines with anything you want in the middle - see my site or e-mail me. Done quite a few for Le Mans clubs / people.
