Just got my Camp Houx ticket, and they're now similar to 'mirror hanging' Ferry passes.

I won't miss the annual job of removing 'ticket superglue' from the windscreen, but will have to take extra care it doesn't get lost or nicked !

Wonder how 'ragtop ' cars will fare....

Those hours spent trying to remove the glue will be looked back on fondly in 20yrs time when you are drinking a perfectly cool beer from a new fangled self chilling can...."remember those sticky passes we used to get, those were the days" laugh

Surely there must be some extra security built in to this new ticket system? What's stopping you driving into the campsite and then walking back out with the 'hanger' and passing it to your mates? That's why they had the superglue and perforations on the old tickets I guess. Where do you keep it on a motorbike and also stop it from getting nicked? Same goes for all the convertibles as well.

I believe you get scanned in and out. So if you go in then give the pass to someone else they will know that you haven't left the site and probably comfiscate the pass. I don't think the pass needs to be displayed once in the camp site so bikers and convertables can store them somewhere safe until they need to exit the site.
