My Lanyard wallet seems to be too small for my ticket! Do you think it'll be alright if I laminated the ticket so I can still use the lanyard.

Also, what are the extra bits on the bottom of the ticket, they look like they tear off at some point?

Appreciate any comments.

The gate staff need to tear off the strips,so laminating would not be a good idea.

The tear-offs are removed at the entrance by the people in flourescent bibs. The different tear-offs are for different days...

Journee Test - test day
Essais Mercredi - Wednesday test evening
Essais Jeudi - Thursday test evening

I'm sure I'm stating the obvious but if you fold the ticket at the spot where the perforations start, does it still not fit?

Nop, not properly as it sticks out the end.

I'm not due to arrive until Friday, does that mean I'll not need the other tear off strips anyway?

You need to leave them attached. If you come in for the first time with the bits torn off, you will need a re-entry card "Contremarque". The ticket holders which the ACO sell (oddly) are the perfect size for the tickets so you should be able to get hold of something. They're often a freebie with the local rag too.

Why not just splash out the 5 euro on a ticket wallet that fits when you get there?
