Depends on how much you want to spend but having a couple of hundred euro's has always seemed like a decent idea. There are now a couple of cash points in the circuit village so you can always get more out..

Depends how fast you get caught I suppose. Last couple of years I have heard that it goes as high as 750 Euros

Yup we met a few people with a TVR and a BMW M3 that got lumped with that amount. French didn't pay attention to us due to my mates company astra having a top speed of 119mph - we managed 125 downhill...
