This is just a quick request for tolerance really.

Crook Senior is heading down on Wednesday in his camper van and he will be staking out an area for the 13 (4 cars, 5 bikes, one camper van) of us that will be getting there on Thursday lunchtime. So if you see an old fellow who looks a bit like Donald Fischer strolling around in a big roped off space, that's my dad and he's not being greedy! (he asked me to post this so people don't get grumpy, knowing how much of a premium space becomes by Friday evening)

Also, we will obviously adjust it if the area proves to be too big when we get there although I will be doing a quick layout (nerd) to make sure that we don't take the michael.

Much appreciated.

How about running a few pages off the printer listing what/how much is going to be in the roped area and when, then sticking them on the rope. At a guess if you have a list of 13 people/x cars/y tents/z gazebos and that looks like it adds up to the roped area you won't have as much trouble with questioning if you really need THAT much space.

Good idea - I'd laminate the notice though given the weather forcast!! The only relevant factor though is the number of passes possessed - 35 sqm per pass. I don't care how many tents someone might have it's how much space they've paid for that I care about!

Yes, nothing worse than people taking big areas and buggering off. Often security will remove them as well.

I am sure if you put some signs up and tell the people your next to people will understand.

I'm doing a quick cad layout to help the old chap. I've managed to find cad blocks of a few differnt cars, I'll just have to guestimate on the tents.

If you print the notices, make sure it is in English as well as French

Why, do French people go to our race?
