Evenin' all! Going to Le Mans for the first time this year with the young lady (mistake?!) and I know this will sound pretty stupid... I don't have much room if any in my car and we just don't have the room for a cool box/electric cooler.

Just wondering if there are any food huts/vans around in the mornings to buy tea/coffee or bread etc? Otherwise we'll have to take a 35min walk to the main area to get our food in the morning! Any ideas?!

Ian.

drive down to Arnage in the mornings for breakfast like most others, or simply get there, unpack your car, then head up to carrefore (half mile away) buy some of the ice (like everybody does), buy other food, buy 6€ cool box and combine. Then leave it behind on Sunday

Ian,

There are food vans near the entrance to BSJ and also about halfway along the campsite - they sell everything from cold beer, hot drinks, sausages, kebabs, etc, etc.

There is also a bread van and an ice-block van which come round in the mornings - listen out for the bell.

Oh that's alright then! Thanks chaps. I suppose I could always go in my tank of a Saab but that's not really the point of Le Mans is it?!

Aparenlty electric coolers are not very good.

Have you thought about a cool bag as opposed to a cool box. LIke this

I have the perfect answer

Put the cool box on the passenger seat and we can give the young lady a ride :-)

Sorted

Otherwise plenty of places to eat and drink

There is a rather nifty 5ft fence round BSJ now, hopefully that will help to keep the pikeys out!

First year for me in Beausejour camp we are normally in Noux. There is a small train that runs from Porsche Curves into the main stands, Or as all ready mentioned drive to a Carrefour (half mile away) and stock up.
