A last minute decision and am currently arranging things today means that i shall be travelling down to Le Mans next Friday. And will be there until Sunday. The question is what time does the race start on Saturday. This is my first time so its all new to me. I have been promising my son who is 12,for a few years that i will take him.

Always great to hear 'newbies' are joining in the fun! You'll have a blast and it will blow your son's mind if he's into cars!

I will warn you though, once you've been there's something that gets in your blood and makes you come back year after year after....

Most people on this forum will probably agree that there is no possible way to explain the atmosphere at Le mans... you've just got to experience it

have a good one guyswavey

It's 3pm (French time) this year, usually 4pm... due to French elections

Wishing you both a very happy time in Le Mans, Dont forget to take some ear defenders for your son, after a few hours of racing he may get a bit tired and they will help him get a bit of rest thumbup Also take a couple of small personal raidos so that you both can listen to raido Le Mans. Remember too that its very crowded there! make sure you and your son have a mobile phone or walkie talkies just incase god forbid you misplace each other. oh yea and sun block biggrin
