Well its like chrismas in my house , the countdown to le mans has well and truly started , this year will be my second year and like last year my twin boys will be coming along as well, nothing un-usual but these two are not quite 12 yet.

With out me knowing the pair of them designed some t shirts and got the wife to order them (she's as daft as them) we have been christened team taff for this year.

They have been nagging to sticker up the car 'just like the other ones last year daddy' i'v been resisting things until this morning. when i told them i was too busy to sort it out and if they wanted stickers to sort it out themselves, well came home this evening and they had been on here and have been ordering stickers for the car they won't tell me what they have bought , i do now they were in the garage with a tape measeure working out what sizes to buy.

They are now on the serch for a large welsh flag to put on the roof , good help me if they find one !

If they are like this at 12 what the hell are they going to be like at 18!!!

So if anyone sees a stickerd up seal gray 996 turbo with a bloke and two hyper 12 year olds in it, give us a wave it will make their year.

The difference is @ 18 they'll be stickering up their own bangers just to get there biggrin

I reckon its 16 you've got worry....too young to drive...old enough for a few crafty beers at home wink . A few days in a 996 with wonky stickers and 2 16 year olds for passengers...hmmmmmm

The way they are growing it's going to be a bit of a squeeze at 16, i recon they will make it for about two more years.

Anyway i will have to think up another excuse to bring them out of school during term time , i'll be probably be running out if excuses or should that be reasons by the time they are 16.

depends what you have Keith. if it's cut vinyl then it's easy. Viper stripes are a little more involved. If your graphics are printed vinyl then you need some mildly soapy water and spray it on the adhesive then apply, line it up properly and then squeegee the excess water and air bubbles out from underneath and it will then set.

to remove, warm with hairdryer on full heat and peel back gently

Any ideas where to get one of the stickers with the outline of the track on at short notice , just found out the boys have spent a few quid on various pistonhead ones , but wanted a track outline as well. the only site i found so far is sold out.

Have a look at this thread for links to various vinyl companies http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

It's getting a bit tight now, and I know Hollographics have stopped taking orders.

Keep an eye on ebay as well.

Keith,

Give Neil at Racegraphics a shout - he's a top bloke and the service is excellent.

You may be too late, but better getting them from someone you know (and a PHer) than elsewhere.

He's on Racegraphics.net

Thanks for the info , all i have to do now is get them on in one piece , the boys are convinced they are doing it , they admitted tonight they may have mixed up inches and cm's when working out the sizes of the pistonhead stickers !

God now's what will turn up.
