Petersfield. (45 mins from S'ton, 30 from Ports) 4 of us coming.

Wednesday morning Dover to Calais.

Coming back Monday morning via same means of travel.


Going in Gold PT Cruiser and Black Focus Zetec.

Staying in Beausejour.

5 cars & 10 blokes from Hants going out Tuesday 11.15pm from Portsmouth. Staying on MB. 15 of us in total but the other 5 aren't from Hants! Cars are all stickered up and can be seen trolling round the lanes and the M27.

Guys, What route would you take from Southampton/Locks Heath to Folkstone Eurotunnel.
M27, M3, M25, M20 ?
M27, A27, A23/M23, M25, M20 ?
Or all across the south coast road?

my sat nav takes me M25/M20 mate, or at least it did 2 weeks ago when I went to Abbeville for a trackday via the tunnel. Its less interesting than the coastal route but I would imagine for the start of the LM weekend you just want to get to the tunnel and enjoy your drive France side rather than this side.
