What are the recommended 'action' spots for each night?

evo supplmement says Arnage friday night though a mate says middle of Le Mans?

And then there's saturday and sunday.

Any recommendations?

Le Mans is doubling as my stag do this year so we're looking for atmosphere each night.

yep, take ice box with plenty of beer and don't stand on the exits of the roundabout

Friday night is the best for the sheer hoonery, but throughout the weekend, it is a great place to spot exotics

We went up to Le Mans city on Friday night last year and it was rammed. On the down side it was disgusting. The streets were ankle deep in crap after the drivers parade and you couldn't get into any of the bars because of the crush. I have to say that we didn't try to hard and that the French are more than willing to sell you half a plastic cup of Stella and froth from various street "bars" at €4 so it's right up a stag party's street !

Agreed! you can't beat the roundabout and road leading upto it for the best 'Mad Friday' experience around

We have been to Le Mans town centre on friday for the last 4 years and every time had a great time. We normally aim to be sat outside Bar Le Moderne opposite Mcdonalds about 2pm and then move on to the many Bars nearby. We have never had any problems getting back to the site in the early hours and have even got the taxi to take us back to Houx Annex.

wha we're doing:

thursday: hotel
friday: houx roundabout
saturdsay: race. Tetre rouge pub till about 4am, then back to watch the racing
sunday: campfire, with anythign we could find to burn.
Monday: its HOW LONG???? to Le Mans 2008

if that's the tetre roughe bar that had a live band last year on the friday night then that's a great party place. Will be there after Houx on the friday for sure !!!
