Something people tend to over look.Spare alarm fob/key is a must for obvious reasons as it's not good to have your spare keys at home when you've lost your keys in France,can be worse than breaking down or as good as! Safe journeys.smile

However, don't do what we did last year! Washing your car near Le Mans, one set of keys in the ignition, the other set of keys in the backpack of your passenger, wash the car (close the windows first), throw the backpack in the already stuffed boot, slam the bootlid shut and hear the alarm go bleep bleep... frown

If travelling alone then a spare hidden in or on the outside of the car can be a life saver.
