If the rozzers see your satnav has speed camera locations on it, don't they treat it the same as a detector and fine you/destroy the kit?

No because it's GPS based data not an active detector.

Just about figured out how to put it on my Garmin (it's not difficult but I forgot how to update it). Brilliant find - thanks for that.

there was a massive thread on this on a french site and 2 people went to the cops/government to discuss - you can get a map of all locations of speed cameras freely and having it on a gps is no worse than this hence it is NOT illegal - they are only after people jamming the equipment.

didnt there use to be a map about on these forums with all the hot spots. Always remeber thers a camera that usually flashes me at Rouen tunnel, and thats not just on my Le mans runs
