June 1978, sitting in the sun-baked stands at Le Mans after a hovercraft/train/hitching trip to Le Mans for the very first time. Pironi and Jaussaud do it for France in that wonderful Alpine Renault.

This Friday I'll head out to Le Mans for the 30th consecutive time, this is becoming addictive...
